Summer Reading

What are some ways to encourage children to read during the summer? How can I motivate them? One way to encourage and motivate children to read is to expose them to multiple types of reading texts. For instance, e-reading is a fun and interactive way of reading! There are many free websites that offer e-books. E-reading provides many cool tools for children to mark their thinking and keep them engaged in reading.

Here are some sites that you can try out:

  2. Great Blog Stacie! It's great what you did to your blog! How did you create the tabs? I think I'm going to steal some ideas from you (calendar & quote). I'll add them when I get the chance :)

I also appreciate the e-book sites.
